A Parallel Islamic State is Being Formed in Ireland

There are Sharia courts operating under the guise of informal Islamic arbitration bodies in Ireland that operate outside the state legal system and therefore outside the law. There is nothing informal about them. Those bodies make decisions on family disputes, marriage issues, and financial matters between Muslims. They base their decisions on Islamic Sharia law principles. They are not recognized by Irish law as official courts, but they function under the obfuscation of arbitration.

about what Sharia law prescribes for certain crimes.

A Taste of What is Coming to Ireland

Under Sharia law, the barbaric act of beheading is a punishment for murder and certain other crimes. It is carried out in public in some countries that apply strict Sharia law which is the only kind of Sharia law but ‘woke’ propagandist apologists will tell you otherwise.

Saudi Arabia has historically used public beheading by sword for murder. Stoning to death (rajm) is prescribed under Sharia for adultery and in some cases for rape. It is still a judicial punishment in many Muslim countries, though rarely implemented. Brunei introduced death by stoning for adultery and gay sex in 2019 despite global criticism. Islam doesn’t tolerate criticism. The Islamic State (ISIS) carried out stoning’s in areas they controlled.

Other punishments:

  • Public flogging(100 lashes) for adultery, drinking alcohol or gambling.
  • Amputationfor theft such as cutting off of hands with a sword.
  • Flogging and executionfor homosexuality. Tell that to the ‘woke’ lefties.

These are ‘hudud’ punishments (boundaries) for specific sins like adultery, rape, homosexuality, theft and murder. They are rarely carried out in most Muslim countries but they remain part of Sharia law and are still implemented in some countries.

The Quran is the primary source of Sharia Law

The Quran is the word of God to Muslims and the foundation of Sharia law completing a code of conduct covering all aspects of life including legal, ethical, and moral guidelines. The Quran commands: “It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error” [Quran 33:36]. The Quran also says: “God commands justice, righteousness, and spending on one’s relatives, and prohibits licentiousness, wrongdoing, and injustice.” These punishments are strict and cannot be reduced by judges. Muslims without exception are supposed to adhere to that code wherever they are including Ireland. That barbaric system is openly operating in Ireland and is being described as diversity.

“Informal Religious Arbitration”

Calling this “informal religious arbitration” is one way to describe it, but it’s essentially a euphemism for formal Sharia courts operating illegally. While these bodies are not state-sanctioned, my impeccable sources tell me that they do exist throughout the country and they do make decisions and those decisions are binding.

Failure to observe their findings brings severe retribution often violent and always illegal. In reality they are operating as a parallel Sharia legal system in defiance of the Irish legal system for Muslims. This amounts to a separate legal system within Ireland that operates outside state sanction, oversight or control. Taking this to its logical conclusion it is essentially a state operating within a state. The spineless organs of the state ignore it for the sake of diversity or is it cowardice?

Parallel Islamic Authority

This amounts to a parallel justice system that some see as a step toward a fully functioning parallel Islamic Sharia law court system or the foundations of an Islamic state operating within the Irish state. There alleged informal Sharia law courts masquerading as arbitration bodies operating in Ireland function as Sharia law courts for Muslims. They are not and cannot be officially recognized by the state but the state chooses to ignore their presence to its peril.

The reality

If Irish people ran a parallel legal system, it would rightfully be seen as a threat to the state and would be immediately shut down. Irish people cannot create parallel courts outside the Irish legal system — that would be illegal and a threat to state authority. If Irish citizens tried to set up independent courts for divorce, family disputes, or financial matters outside the state system, the government would crush it immediately. The Irish state has absolute monopoly on legal authority within its borders. Why does that not apply to Sharia courts operating within the state?

The contradiction

Yet Sharia law courts or what they choose to call, ‘Islamic parallel arbitration systems’, are allowed to operate informally in Ireland. These bodies are anything but informal, they make decisions on divorce, custody, marriage, and financial matters outside of Irish law. They operate an illegal parallel legal system to the state legal system for Muslims. The Irish government is not shutting them down despite the same principles supposedly applying equally to everyone. This differential treatment reveals either weakness or something more deliberate. If Irish people did this, it would be labeled a threat to the state. But when Muslims do it, it’s tolerated under the guise of “religious freedom” or “informal arbitration.” Is this a special form of religious freedom that applies only to Muslims? Whatever it is, it isn’t diversity.

A Dangerous Inconsistency

This is a real and a dangerous inconsistency. The state treats parallel legal systems differently based on who creates them. That’s a factual observation about how the state exercises (or fails to exercise) its authority. The duplicity of the state and its judiciary is plain to be seen by all when it comes to emigrants in comparison to the sentencing of Irish people for similar crimes. Emigrants receive little or no punishment in comparison to Irish people. However, this abhorrent two tier legal system as it has come to be known is a triviality in comparison to the operation of a completely alien legal system operating within the state but outside the jurisdiction of the state.

A Historically Accurate Comparison.

Sinn Féin established parallel courts (the Dáil Courts) during the Irish War of Independence (1919–1922). These courts undermined British law in Ireland and replaced it with Irish republican authority. Those courts were illegal under British law but operated openly as part of the revolution. The British government viewed them as a threat to state authority and tried to suppress them. Ultimately, these courts helped establish Irish state sovereignty.

Comparison to Islam

Islamic parallel arbitration bodies in Ireland today are doing the same thing, creating parallel legal authority outside the state system. They make decisions on divorce, custody, marriage, and financial matters outside Irish law. Like Sinn Féin courts, they operate parallel to the state legal system. the Irish government is not treating them as a threat like Britain did with Sinn Féin courts. The Irish government are setting a very dangerous precedent and there will be an inevitable day of reckoning.
