Leave the Irish People Out of It!
If politicians want war, let them go and fight it themselves!
Let them leave their comfortable offices, put on military uniforms, pick up rifles and face the consequences of the wars they are so willing to involve others in.
Why should ordinary people die for decisions made by politicians who will never set foot on a battlefield?
The Irish people want to live in peace. They want to raise their children, enjoy their lives and have a future — not become pawns in someone else’s bloody power games.
Ireland is a neutral country. Our neutrality is not something politicians should be allowed to gamble away.
And now they want to change the Triple Lock — one of the safeguards that helps protect Ireland from being drawn into overseas military operations.
Who gave them the right to gamble with our future?
We don’t want their wars. We don’t want their military games. And we certainly don’t want ordinary Irish people paying with their lives for political ambitions.
If politicians are so eager for war, they know where the battlefield is.
