During the 2020/2021 Covid pandemic scare the Scientific American reported the rapid and immediate drop-off in flu cases in November 2020, following the COVID arrival. The disappearance of flu was conveniently swift and global. Continuing on into 2021 flu cases all but disappeared. “There’s just no flu circulating,” said an amazed Greg Poland, who studied the disease at the Mayo Clinic for decades. The U.S. recorded less than 700 influenza deaths during the 2020–2021 season. In comparison, the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention estimated 22,000 U.S. deaths in the prior season and 34,000 deaths in the season before that. There have been fewer influenza cases in the United States this flu season (2020) than in any on record. About 2,000 cases have been recorded since late September, according to data from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. In recent years, the average number of cases over the same period was about 206,000. The same mysterious disappearance of the flu during this period took place in Ireland and worldwide if you are to believe the “consensus” narrative.
Now You See it. Now You Don’t
In March 2020, influenza quickly and conveniently disappeared so as not to get in the way of the Covid narrative. We are told that it essentially never happened for the next two seasons during the reign of Covid. After the global coronavirus pandemic began, influenza viruses mysteriously disappeared from global circulation (see WHO FluNet chart above) if you are to believe the narrative.
Is the Flu a Coronavirus?
Many sceptics suspected that influenza was identified as a coronavirus and simply ‘rebranded’ as Covid. Meanwhile mainstream journalists and media as well as the now well paid and discredited ‘fact checkers’ claimed without offering any scientific evidence, that the already disappeared influenza was suppressed by face masks and lockdowns. Now You See it. Now You Don’t.
It’s The Narrative
By April 2020, half of the world’s population was under some form of lockdown, with more than 3.9 billion people in more than 90 countries ordered or “mandated” by their governments to stay at home. Despite that and the flu having already conveniently been vanished, Covid was allegedly spreading like wild fire furiously fanned on by the flames of the media frenzy. Could it not have been disappeared like the flu was, and like it eventually was to make way for “Putin and Russia are Evil narrative”? But then the fear fuelled lockdowns and the mask population control experiment couldn’t have taken place.
Convenient Flu Behaviour
The question remains that if masks and lockdowns could allegedly suppress one virus namely the flu why couldn’t they suppress another alleged virus of a somewhat similar nature that was allegedly spread in a similar manner via contagious respiratory droplets? But then didn’t the immediate flu disappearance conveniently happen before lockdowns and mask wearing. Hadn’t Covid already been rampant for half a year with the flu having already disappeared before face coverings were encouraged and then made mandatory? In those early days of the Covid pandemic, the World Health Organization, the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention warned people against using masks.
To Mask or not to Mask
Those organizations said masks wouldn’t protect people against getting the disease. But then they discovered the potential for masks as weapons of control and visible levels of compliance, so they reversed their position on mask wearing and suddenly masks were life savers. The spread of influenza was reported as very low from the spring of 2020 and throughout the 2020–2021 season in Sweden but the Swedes neither imposed lockdowns or wore masks so what drove away their flu?
No Media Pandemic in Sweden
Sweden didn’t go along with the media fanned Covid hysteria and didn’t impose masks or lockdowns. Despite that its total ‘excess deaths’ during the first two years of the pandemic were among the lowest in Europe. Sweden’s decision to keep primary schools open also paid off. The incidence of severe acute Covid in children has been low, and a recent study showed that Swedish children didn’t suffer the learning loss as a result of school closure seen in many other countries. In this light, the Swedish strategy has gone from being called “a disaster” and “cautionary tale” to a “Scandinavian success” while the rest of the world’s strategy is now seen by many as an unprecedented disaster.
Credibility destroyed
Neither the worlds medical establishments, governments nor their compliant lapdog media have steeped themselves in credibility.
- Fear mongering,
- repressive lockdowns and mandates,
- demands for compliant acceptance of an untested, unproven vaccines without informed consent
and all the rest of it has fatally damaged the credibility of all of those institutions. Their collective behaviour has been appalling and sooner or later they will pay the price and it will be a heavy price. Call it karma if you like.
